Do You Believe in Network Marketing?
Having a strong belief in the network marketing industry and your specific company is critical to your success. You have to believe in what you’re doing - otherwise you’re doomed to failure!
So how do you get belief, maintain it, and instill it in your organization?

The Network Marketing Industry
The network marketing industry has been the butt of thousands of jokes over the years. It’s come under attack by disgruntled distributors who never made any money, by people who work “regular jobs”, and even by the government.
So, in the face of it all, you need to have an unwavering belief in the industry as a legitimate business model that helps people. Network marketing business is a “people helping people” business. It’s not the typical cut-throat corporate environment (or at least it shouldn’t be).
You probably got involved with the network marketing industry as a way to make money by referring others to better, safer, or less expensive products and services. Remembering why you started this business in the first place is integral to your belief level.
Your Network Marketing Company
You chose your network marketing company, out of the hundreds of companies, for certain reasons. The first, and probably the most important, should be the products or services. Do you love the products? Are you a loyal customer of the services or products your company offers. If your company makes laundry detergent, you shouldn’t be using Tide. Be a consumer of the products and services your network marketing company offers. Besides, if you won’t use them, how can you recommend them to your prospects?
You also probably chose your network marketing company because you believed in the integrity and honesty of the company and its employees.
- Do you get a paycheck every month like clockwork?
- Does it follow all the government and direct selling association rules and guidelines?
- Is the company fair to customers offering, refunds or exchanges when required?
- Do they stand behind their guarantees to customers and distributors/reps?
All of these issues are important to establishing belief in your network marketing company.
Your Marketing Methods
How are you promoting your network marketing business? Do you talk to friends and family? or do you call leads? Maybe you like to do a combination of the two and use the Internet to help you. Either way, you need to believe in your marketing methods.
As I’m sure you’ve already experienced, you’re going to face rejection. So you need to be able to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and begin again. That takes belief!
Improving Belief
What do you do if your belief has taken a nose dive, or you need to renenergize your organization’s belief level. Here’s a few suggestions to get you back on track:
- Read good industry-related books - There are lots of good books out there to improve your belief about the network marketing industry. remember there is always something new we can learn about our industry, and powerful marketing methods that we may have never known about before. Here’s a few that come to mind:

- Listen to company material and training - Does your company put out monthly training CDs, or a regular success magazine filled with success stories, income stats, and helpful tips? If so, consume it all! Read everything you can get your hands on. This will show you that those more successful than you started somewhere, and faced hard times themselves, and persevered. They might even give you a couple of precious nuggets of information to help you get to the next level!
- Attend company sponsored events - Whenever your company has an event, you should be there. And, the annual convention is a must! There is no single better way to boost belief through the roof for you and your organization , then to get everyone to go to Convention. It works. Period.
- Talk to upline - If you want to improve your belief about your marketing methods, talk to someone who has achieved positive results from the same methods. Sometimes this isn’t always your enroller/sponsor. You may have to go above them or even sideline. But, do whatever you have to do to talk to those who are already successful doing what you’re doing.
No matter what you do, make sure you weave some sort of belief-bolstering activity in your weekly plans. It’s one of the best things you can do to give your business the jump-start it needs!

Well i agree with you. I think success stories from other members are important as well as one have to review the products & promotions of the company before joining it.
