Dealing with Enrollees Who are MIA

Posted in Training

I’m sure you’ve seen it before…You enroll a new person into your network marketing business who’s excited and motivated to get started right away and make lots of money. And, then they don’t pick up the phone or return your calls. No one has seen or heard from them. They are Missing in Action (MIA)!

Here’s how I deal with the absent enrollee…

I call them a few times, at different times to give them the benefit of the doubt. People have lives and families and emergencies, so we have to give them a chance. After a week has passed without a word, I switch to email.

I choose an email that specifically addresses their concerns. If they have a sick child, and our products can help, I send them an article on the illness and how natural products help. If they have issues with work, or are working all the time, I send them something about reclaiming their time. It can be anything from a success story, product stories, or personal challenges for stay at home moms, working parents, or illnesses.

The next month I will call again leaving a message with something like…

I came across this article about”such and such” and I thought of you. I just want to see how I can help. Give me a call.

That’s it! Nothing too aggressive or confrontational. Let them know you haven’t forgotten about them and you’re here to support them in any way you can. Then, and only then, you might get a call back and a revived enrollee.

When I first started NM, i would actually take offense when I didn’t get a call back, which was selfish. People have things going on, and we should keep that in mind.

Have you noticed an increase in the number of comments since installed KeywordLuv? I’ve been considering using it on a blog I own and need some honest feedback.
