7 Ways to Celebrate Success!
Everyone loves a pat on the back! A friendly “Good Job!” goes a long way. And, when it comes to your network marketing business, it’s important to recognize when your group or an individual in the group does well. Part of being a good leader is celebrating other people’s successes!
What Accomplishments Should Be Celebrated?
That’s easy…almost everything! We should celebrate and recognize people when they advance in the company, when they enroll a new person into their business, when they help one of their personals advance, and when they reach a specific goal they’ve set for themselves (like a certain income level or number of people in their organization).
Ways to Celebrate Success
1. Congratulations eCard
Who said it had to be expensive? An eCard is a great way to recognize someone’s accomplishments and brighten their day without the expense of a gift.
2. Successories
Send a motivational Successories item - as small as a mouse pad, a calendar, or a framed wall print. I have two framed prints in my office and they inspire me daily.
3. Recognition in the Organizational Newsletter
Do you or your upline have a monthly email newsletter that goes out to the entire organization? If so, you can put your people’s success in there for everyone to see. When they see their name spotlighted as an achiever, their level of belief will skyrocket!
4. Recognition on the Weekly Training Conference Call
Every training conference call should begin with celebrating success. Whether its for the smallest task like adding people to a contact list, or presenting to 5 people in one week, or enrolling a new person, recognition in a group setting is important.
5. Gift Certificate or gift card
If your enrollee has hit a milestone, or achieved a new level in the company, or somehow generated an increased income for them and you, reward them with a gift certificate or gift card to their favorite store or restaurant. Get a little creative and offer them house cleaning for a week (if you have an overworked single mom) or pampering at the local salon with a massage, or even a subscription to Audibles for downloadable motivational books on mp3 for their iPod. A little goes a long way!
6. Get together for lunch or dinner (if local)
If you have local group members that have experienced some recent success, take them out to lunch or dinner to celebrate their achievements. It’s a great way to build relationships while praising their good work.
7. Business Tools
Does your company offer training tools or business building tools that your people could benefit from? If so, you can reward their successes with new business tools to help them grow their business even faster!
No matter what you choose to do, make sure you do something to celebrate your group’s success! It develops strong personal relationships and builds trust and strength into your organization. That’s the mark of a true leader!

I think the e-card is personally a bit meaningless, but I love the gift card idea. My employer does it and It’s very uplifting for the person who receives it.

I think just recognizing and celebrating someone being successful or accomplishing a goal is often enough to make them feel good. People want to know what they have accomplished is appreciated and celebrated by others they respect.

Nice post, I think we all need a little some appreciations on our success & it feels so good, When some one congrats us. Good leader always celebrates in others people’s successes & it important for them to make a good relationship with them.
